Offer description Crop Protection Asturias is currently seeking a Safety resource to be part of its Environmental, Health, Safety and Security team to provide direction, support, and consultation on safety, health, security and other related areas. You will be part of the Corteva Asturias Prevention service
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Member of the plant EHS&S team and Prevention serviceThe EHS&S resource will be the plant focal point for REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) understanding the status of registrations for chemical products handled at Asturias and working with business resources to maintain registrations or apply for new registrationsBe the plant resource and contact for Security related issues and trainingLead internal audits for EHS&S related matters with focus on the area of responsibilityResponsible from the Safety and Process safety standpoint for training programs and training implementationPermitting for capital projects and support to legal structure for S&OH compliance, including contacts with authorities in the area of Reach, security and othersBe a resource on EHS&S policies & programs by working closely with EHS&S organization and ensure that they are implemented on plant processes and procedures
Applicant description Our ideal candidate must have the following:
Master degree in Engineering, enabling to sign projects to be submitted to authotirieMaster in Prevencion de Riesgos Laborales or equivalentBe knowledgeable of local, state and national safety regulationsFluent English is a mustDemonstrated team work, program management, coaching, communication, networking, collaborative problem solving, listening, attention to detail and influence skillsHigh level computer abilitiesExperience in manufacturing and safety is a plus as well as knowledge of security features in an operational environment
