Manage queries, complaints, suggestions or requests made to us and the matters arising therefrom.

Manage user participation in the blog and the comments they make.

However, it may be the case that Alumni Global Search, S.L. acts as joint data controller, for example, in relation to Talent Manager Pools that contract its services. Such cases shall be notified in the relevant information clause.

For what purpose does Alumni Global Search S.L. process users' personal data?

At Alumni Global Search S.L., we process your personal data with the utmost respect and compliance with the applicable regulations on personal data protection.

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • With respect to registered candidates, we process your personal data to manage your registration on beWanted and, accordingly, the functionalities enabled for you; to manage your participation in recruitment processes created by companies and, where appropriate, Talent Pool Manager, registered with beWanted; to evaluate your employability or JobRank (beWanted's candidate ranking system based on a proprietary algorithm that weights CVs according to the quality and quantity of information the candidate provides when registering on the platform and assesses their employability).
    • Furthermore, if you give your consent by ticking the corresponding box that accompanies the registration form, we will use your personal data to send you information of interest related to beWanted and recruitment processes that match your profile. You may withdraw this consent at any time and each communication we send you will include means for unsubscribing from such communications.
  • With respect to registered companies, we process your personal data to manage your registration with beWanted and the functionalities associated with it, to allow the creation and management of personnel selection processes and, if you authorise it by ticking the corresponding box that accompanies the registration form, we will use your personal data to send you information of interest related to beWanted. You may withdraw this consent at any time and each communication we send you will include means for unsubscribing from such communications.
  • In this regard, we inform you that in order to conduct a more efficient, dynamic and smooth management and to be able to keep better track of the communications that we send to both candidates and registered companies, we use Sendgrid, a platform developed by Twilio Inc. The use of this platform involves the installation, by the provider of the aforementioned service, of devices for monitoring the activity of the recipients, in order to monitor the opening of the emails and the clicking of the links contained therein, and to be able to draw up campaign monitoring reports based on the information collected.
  • To manage on behalf of the company the queries, complaints, suggestions, claims and requests made by the data subjects and the matters arising therefrom.
  • To manage comments on blog posts.

We inform you that we will only process your personal data for the aforementioned purposes.

We inform you that under no circumstances will automated decisions be taken on the basis of your profile.

For how long will we store your personal data?

With respect to registered candidates and companies, we will process your personal data until such time as you decide to unsubscribe, which you can do in your private area. Thereafter, we will retain your personal data only for the time necessary to comply with the legal requirements.

With regard to the queries, complaints, suggestions or requests that we receive through the form provided for this purpose, we will process the personal data for as long as it is necessary to resolve them and deal with them and, once they have been resolved, for the time necessary to comply with the legal requirements.

With respect to comments made on the blog, we will keep the data until such time as you revoke your consent, if applicable.

In other cases, we will process your data for the time necessary to manage your request and/or service.

What is the legal basis for the processing of users' personal data?

In relation to candidates and registered companies, the legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the consent you give when registering with beWanted.

With regard to the processing of personal data for the sending of information of interest related to beWanted and personnel selection processes, the legal basis is the consent you give by ticking the corresponding box which accompanies the registration form. You may withdraw this consent at any time and each communication we send you will include means for unsubscribing from such communications.

In those cases where consent is the legal basis for the processing of personal data, you may withdraw your consent at any time, whenever you wish, but this shall not affect the legality of such processing based on the consent given prior to its withdrawal.

With regard to queries, complaints, suggestions and requests made through the form provided for this purpose, the legal basis for the processing of personal data is the consent given when contacting us through this form for the purposes indicated.

With regard to comments on the blog, the legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the consent you give us when you fill in the form in order to make a comment on the posts we publish.

To which recipients will users' personal data be passed on?

In accordance with the main purpose of candidate registration with beWanted, we will pass the personal data contained in your profile on to beWanted registered companies interested in your profile. If the registered company belongs to a Talent Pool Manager, your personal data will also be passed on to the Talent Pool Manager in order to be able to manage the selection processes of the companies belonging to the Talent Pool Manager.

In accordance with the main purpose of registration with beWanted, we will pass the personal data of the registered companies on to candidates registered with beWanted who are interested in their vacancies. If they belong to a Talent Pool Manager, their personal data will also be passed on to the Talent Pool Manager in order to be able to manage the selection processes of the companies belonging to the Talent Pool Manager.

In other cases, we will only pass on users' personal data if we are required to do so by law.

Moreover, as mentioned above, beWanted informs you that in order to conduct a more efficient, dynamic and smooth management and to be able to keep better track of the communications we send, we use Sendgrid, a platform developed by Twilio Inc. a company that acts as a data processor and that, despite being located outside the European Economic Area, the international transfer of data involved in its use has the appropriate guarantees included in Article 46.2 c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission).

We also inform you that Alumni Global Search S.L. works with several entities that provide a service that requires access to personal data, and that these entities are therefore data processors for Alumni Global Search S.L.

What rights do users have as data subjects?

You, as the data subject, either on your own behalf or through a representative - legal or voluntary - may exercise your rights of access, rectification, restriction of processing, erasure, objection and the right to data portability.

To exercise these rights, you should contact us by e-mail at dpo@bewanted.com, with "Data Protection Rights" in the subject line or, if you prefer, by post to Alumni Global Search S.L., calle Castelló, nº 82-6º Izq. - C.P. 28006 Madrid, specifying which right you wish to exercise and sending a photocopy of your DNI (Spanish identifying document).

You will receive a response from us within 30 days of receiving your request, and we will make every effort and use all the means at our disposal to reduce this period as much as possible. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency to request the protection of your rights.

How did we obtain your personal data?

The personal data that we process at Alumni Global Search S.L. have been collected from any of the different forms that you send us or through the e-mail address provided in order to contact us.
